DEGASSING SLEEVE INSTRUCTIONS

)  Make sure the gun is unloaded and uncocked. Remove the Magnum Adjuster knob/guide-screw keeping track of the starting position and how many turns your adjustment is set at. Remove the hammer spring.

)  Place the wide end of the degassing sleeve onto the guide screw and reinstall only a few turns. The narrow end of the sleeve fits inside the back of our Magnum Hammers, the wide end may get stuck and be difficult to remove.

)  Make sure the bolt is in the closed position. Push the safety to the fire position and pull the trigger to release the sear. Continue to hold the trigger as you tighten the guide screw. Release it when you feel the gude screw stop. The hammer should be resting against the valve stem now.

)  Release the trigger and firmly hold the gun pointing in a safe direction. Now you can turn the guide screw with more force to open the valve. Do this slowly until you hear air start to vent from the barrel.

)  Once the air has vented you can remove the degassing sleeve and reinstall your hammer spring to the original adjustment.
